Hello there!

Here's an update on my recent trip to Hongkong in May. It was my second time there ever since my Poly exchange trip 3 years ago. I'm amazed that I could still tracked back my path after all these years!

DAY 1:
First time taking Singapore Airlines! Got the tickets during promotion for 1 for 1!^^

My travel buddy for the trip(:

 Breakie on board

Hotel lobby.
LODGEWOOD BY L’HOTEL MONGKOK HONG KONG 1131 Canton Road, Mongkok, Hong Kong

We got the L.Room for twin beds. The room was exactly the same on site, so spacious and comfy! Location wise is good too, about 5-7mins walk to the nearest MTR. No trouble lugging our luggages down to this hotel on the first day.

Featuring the open shower haha.
Don't worry, there's a curtain that you can draw from the outside. However it was a
little translucent in day time with the natural light from the full height windows.

Our first meal in HK @ Tsui Wah Concept

Walked the entire street but didn't see anything we like.

4th stop: Argyle Centre
Pretty much like far east plaza, clothes prices not consider cheap.
We tried the famous Bai Wei Cold Noodles. Where you get to choose the type of noodles and toppings to go with.

Started our day with dim sum breakfast @ One Dim Sum
Its known to be the origins of Tim Ho Wan, just look at the menu! It's so similar!
We reached there around 10am and there was already a short queue!
Surprisingly they opened the restaurant at 10.30am instead of official opening time at 11am.

It was such a gloomy day, they even had the "red-storm" alert and all the locals dressed in raincoat and rain boots. So we decided to have a 10mins walk in rain to the nearest MOKO shopping mall to kill time there, and ended up spending so much more! We had no choice but to head back to hotel to put down all the shopping bags we had and take a short rest before heading out again. Came back to hotel with a warm egg tart and fav vitasoy drink on a rainy day(:

After the rain stops, we headed out again to explore more across the island.
