Up at Yang Ming Shan阳明山, these stalls caught our eyes! We were so hungry because he didn't have breakfast before that. Tried their herbal egg茶叶蛋 and sweet potato地瓜, ohmygawd its the nicest and comfiest breakfast food ever man! Their sweet potato was not like our ordinary potato, its super duper sweet and yummy man! LOVE IT!!
Look at how foggy it was up the mountain! It was freezing cold man, not sure how many degree but our outerwear wasn't warm enough!!! We moved on quickly after the food.

First time seeing cherry blossom!!! Its so PRETTEEEY! ^^

Going higher up the mountain for lunch. Its so horrible man, cause every dish is their local wild vegies. Especially their bitter gourd, its the worse thing i ever tried man! Im totally not a vege person.



Some kind of water flower, not sure what is this but it looks abit like tulip.
The natural stream, makes me thing of my ABC Water elective.

2nd stop, xiao yu keng小油坑 which is located at an elevation of 800 meters (2,624 ft) and contains a host of volcanically-created fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and landslides. Sulfur vents noisily spew forth gases, and hot springs discharge endless streams of boiling water (again, from Wiki). The smell of sulphur was overwhelming but it was quite fascinating at the same time. Mother nature never cease to amaze me. 
Seen people bringing their own eggs online, but we don't see anyone doing that there. Was really curious and excited to see that, and would definitely try it if there was.

It was drizzling and fogging, so we didn't get to see much up there.

Freezing 11degree man! We don't even know until the driver told us about it.
3rd stop: Leng shui keng 冷水坑. Driver suggested we warm ourselves by soaking our feet into the spring water. But the first thing we went there, we notice the the colour of the water and follow by the smell. On second thought, we decided to give it a miss.
I can't help but capture this picture of the locals enjoying themselves keeping warm in the water.

Moving on to Jiufen, we stop by the coast overwhelmed by the sea and the crashing waves!

The waves were crashing so strongly. If you haven't know, i am a big fan of the deep blue sea! I love the sea so much, i could just sit back and enjoy listening to the sea all day.
Our cabby and female driver(in pink) for the day. Didn't manage to take picture with her. She's really pretty, nice and friendly! Her driving skills i can say is super good!!


Stopping by the golden waterfall黄金瀑布 on the way up the mountain.




 By the time we reached Jiufen 九分 it was pouring so heavily. We were totally drench even though with umbrellas!
 Moving along the streets, hating how its only partially covered along the way. So regretful that we didn't check the whether beforehand and we should have brought raincoats like them :/
 Nevermind the rain, we still enjoy ourselves with the streets food and cheap buys(:
 Last stop: Shi Fen 十分. It was so empty haha, we get the whole place to ourselves. Taking our time to ink down our wishes. MAY OUR WISHES ALL COME TRUE(:

 After the train passed, we went back to the track and let out our wishing lanterns.








 Reaching back to Ximending after a long day. Going around finding places for dinner.
 This was how crowded and bright every night.


 Dropped by 7-eleven on the way back to our apartment. Decided to try their cup noodles, and LOOK what a variety of cup noodles they have! My boyfriend would love these if he was there haha.
And ft. my greatest buy of the day! I BARGAINED SO MUCH with the shop owner haha! But she was really nice enough to give me at my price :D
