Taiwan Travelogue 7D6N - Day 3
1:13:00 PMDay 3 | Taichung -> Taipei
Lodging in to our Airbnb apartment @ Ximending, Wan Hua District. Scroll down for more details.
Its a loft apartment, so you get 2 storeys. This is the first floor, one double bed, toilet, kitchen, living room, balcony and washing machine.
Really high double volume ceiling with beautiful chandelier. The apartment is really sweet, simple and clean with pretty wallpapers and furnitures.
Moving up to the upper floor. I slept on top, trust me you will definitely love it here. Super comfy and cosy overall!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this apartment if you are going to Taipei in a small group. The hosts, Carrie and her friend Stacey are really nice and friendly helping us with our needs on transportation and also with our itinerary. They lived around the area, so they do know the neighbourhood well and would recommend places for us. This is my very first time trying airbnb, and i would really recommend to all for this lodging website. Its really simple to use, and everything is well controlled by the team. From booking > payment > check-in > check-out. It saves as a whole lot of money and conveniences too! If i would to rate this apartment and the host, i would give 5 STARS OUT OF 5! This is how good it is!For more details of the apartment, please go to Airbnb website to find out more.

Exploring Ximending. Its looking like the Taiwan version of Japan's Shibuya haha
First stop: Modern Toilet Cafe (Scroll down for more details)
We sat on real toilet bowls and this was our table, sinks with poop.
Here's my japanese chicken curry rice set. The food weren't exactly that nice, its just the experience here.
Even the drink came like this in a urinal pot.
Anyway, this is free. You can just bring home after this!
I requested for a glass of warm water, and look how i came haha!
Our poop ice creams :P
I did my itinerary before our trip. So here's some to share if you are interested!
2nd stop: Wu Fen Pu 五分铺. All those alley/lanes are actually clothes shops along the entire stretch.
The entrance looks something like this.
Typical lanes/alleys of shops. More women fashions though, but its really really cheap! Wholesale prices, buy 3 or more you get even cheaper!
Last stop: Raohe Night Market 饶河夜市. Just a short walk down from Wufenpu.
The MUST EAT food at the night market. There's really a variety of food stalls there. From food > clothes > items. They have everything there! Would recommend that you come here in taipei!
Tried the smelly tofu. OMG i seriously can't take this, i almost puke out with just one try.
